I have a bad news for gamers who have pre-booked or have been waiting for Spider-Man PS4 Special Edition in India. A recent report from Gadgets 360 confirmed that Sony India won’t be brining Special Edition to India.
Several retailers have confirmed this to Gadgets 360. Previously, the release was delayed but now there will be no India release. Sony India also didn’t provide any reason for the cancelation to retailers. Sony India also didn’t make any official statement on this matter.
Spider-Man PS4 Special Edition along with Collector’s Edition went up for pre-order last month. Spider-Man PS4 Special Edition comes with a steelbook and an art book. Gamers who already pre-ordered the Spider-Man PS4 Special Edition will soon get order cancellation notice from their retails. Few retailers have already notified to their customers who pre-booked the game.
What about Spider Man PS4 Collector’s Edition? That is still expected but we are not sure if this will finally make it’s way to country.
This is not the first time Sony India has done something like this. They have messed up the releases of few of its games in India several times in past. Shadow of the Colossus , Horizon Zero Dawn and limited variants of God of War suffered similar things.
