Sony India launches the MASTER Series A9F BRAVIA OLED smart TV in India starting at Rs. 3,99,999

Sony India has launched its new smart TV MASTER Series A9F in India. It comes in 55-inch and 65-inch Display sizes and will be available starting September 20.

The OLED display panel of this smart TV offers 4K resolution and supports HDR formats, including HDR10, Hybrid Log-Gamma and Dolby Vision. Sony also claims that this smart TV is IMAX Enhanced product that meets high quality standards of color, contrast, clarity and sound.

It is powered by Picture Processor X1 Ultimate with Pixel Contrast Booster to offer enhanced color contrast in high luminance. The X1 ultimate chip can detect hundreds of different objects on-screen to intelligently enhance brightness, color and details.

The TV also has Acoustic Surface Audio+ technology. The company puts Three actuators at the back with two powerful subwoofers to deliver multi-dimensional sound. When connected with external home theatre system, the TV can act as central unit. It has DTS Surround sound and S-master amplifier.

The TV runs on Android TV 8.0 Oreo platform. So, it brings the power of Google Assistant. You can operate the TV with voice commands. If you have other smart home devices connected to the same network, you can even control those as well. Not just Google Assistant, you can also connect your Alexa-enabled devices for hands-free control. It will also come with pre-installed apps of Netflix, Prime video YouTube and more. You will also have access to Google Play Store for installed more apps. The TV has 8GB onboard storage for this and you can also expand the storage

The company also talks about Netflix Calibrated Mode that can be enabled while watching Netflix. This mode has been developed to enjoy Netflix originals and reproduce the same picture quality on a TV as on a studio evaluation master.

Other notable features include parental lock, on screen lock, light sensor and sleep timer. It supports Bluetooth 4.2 and input ports include 4 HDMI, 3 USB, 1 Ethernet, 1 Analog audio and 1 Digital Audio along with 1 Headphone output.
