Motorola One Power with 6.2-inch Display, Dual Camera and 5000mAh Battery Launched in India At Rs. 15999

Today, Motorola launched its first Android One phone Motorola One Power in India. The phone comes with the price tag of Rs. 15999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart. registrations start today and it will go on sale  October 5 at 12 PM.

This time, Motorola has adopted a new design pattern and it looks similar to Moto P30 launched a few months back in China. The phone features P2i coating to make the device splashproof and the company also offers a protective case within the box.

Motorola One Power features a 6.2-inch IPS LCD 2.5D curved Glass Display with 1080×2246 pixels resolution and Gorilla Glass Protection. The display has 19:9 aspect ratio and features a notch at the top. The phone also has Widevine L1 certification, so you can enjoy Netflix and video streaming services in HD.

The phone packs octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB RAM and Adreno 506 GPU. The phone has 64 GB of storage that is also expandable up to 256GB. It is worth to note that the phone has a dedicated microSD card slot along with two nano SIM slots. So, you can expand the storage and use two SIMs at the same time.

The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo and is the part of Google’s Android One Program. So, the phone will keep getting monthly security updates and Android system updates. It will also be one of the first devices to receive Android 9 Pie update later this year. This is better for consumers because Motorola has been struggling in pushing Android updates for past few months. The phone comes with Google Lens integration that is built into the phone’s camera app. Customers will get unlimited backup of Photos on Google photos.

The phone sports dual camera setup with 16 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 5 megapixels secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The phone can also record 4K videos. It also has 12 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture. Front camera offers selfie portrait mode, Auto HDR mode, Professional mode and selfie beauty mode.

Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type C and GPS with A-GPS. Fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel at Moto dimple. It has bottom firing speaker powered by Dolby Audio

It packs 5000 mAh battery with support to Turbo Charge. It comes with 15W Turbocharger within the box. The company claims that just 15 minutes of charging can offer up to 6 hours of usage.
