iOS 12 is now available to download
Apple has finally released iOS 12 for supported iPhone and iPad devices across the globe. If you have an iOS devices that is eligible for iOS 12 update, go to the Settings app -> General -> Software Update, and you should see the prompt to update.
If you are not sure whether your device is eligible, here is the list of supported iOS devices getting iOS 12 today.

- iPhone 7 and 7 Plus
- iPhone 6S and 6S Plus
- iPhone SE
- iPhone 6 and 6 Plus
- iPhone 5S
- iPad Pro (9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, and both generations of 12.9-inch)
- iPad (2018)
- iPad (fifth-gen)
- iPad Air and iPad Air 2
- iPad mini 2, 3, and 4
- iPod Touch (sixth-gen)
The iOS 12 brings performance improvements across all the devices. As per claims, the camera launch is up to 70 percent faster and keyboard appears up to 50 percent faster. Typing experience is now more responsive. Apple is introducing several new features including a Screen Time to track how long you spend on your phone. Now iOS has improved notifications and features like custom Memoji to create a look like you.
iOS is also world’s largest AR platform. With iSO 12, Apple continues to improve the AR experience and offering more ways to interact with AR objects. AR files can now be viewed nearly anywhere in iOS, including apps like Messages, Safari, Mail, Files and News.
Apple has also added Siri Shortcuts for iOS Apps. So, any app can now work with Siri offering you a better way to use your favorite apps using voice commands.
