Samsung has just announced its new smartphone Samsung Galaxy Note9 at an event in New York.
Samsung Galaxy Note9 features a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo).
It will be available in Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU or Octa-Core Samsung Exynos 9 Series 9810 processor with Mali G72MP18 GPU depending on the market. It comes in 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage or 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 512GB storage models. Storage is also expandable up to 512GB via microSD card.
The phone features a dual camera setup that has 12 megapixels primary sensor with f/2.4-f/1.5 variable aperture, LED Flash, 960fps super slo-mo and 12 megapixels secondary sensor with f/2.4 aperture. It also features an 8 megapixels front camera with wide-angle lens and f/1.7 aperture.
It has IP68 rating for Water and dust resistance. It s also water resistant up to 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. It also has stereo speakers tuned by AKG and features Dolby Atmos.
It also has AR Emoji that uses machine learning to analyze and map more than 100 facial features to create a 3D model to reflect your expressions. It also has Bixby assistant along with a dedicated Bixby hardware button.
Galaxy Note9 features S Pen stylus with Bluetooth support. It has a button on its surface along with a clicker on the bottom that lets you take selfie and group pictures. It can also capture pause and play video along with more functions.
Sensors on the phone include Accelerometer, Barometer, Fingerprint Sensor, Gyro Sensor, Geomagnetic Sensor, Hall Sensor, Heart Rate Sensor, Proximity Sensor, RGB Light Sensor, Iris Sensor and Pressure Sensor.
It will also be available Single or Hybrid Dual SIM models. Connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth 5 (LE up to 2Mbps), GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC and MST.
It packs 4000 mAh battery with support to Adaptive fast charging both on wired and wireless charging.
It comes in Midnight Black, Lavender Purple, Metallic Copper with matching S Pen, and Ocean Blue with a Yellow S Pen.
