Realme 2 will be launched on August 28, but we have already seen several leaks confirming its notch and specifications. A full specs sheet of the phone was leaked yesterday that began a debate of chipset on social media. Now the listing on Flipkart also confirms few specs of the phone that are similar to previous leak..

As per Flipkart’s listing, the phone will feature a 6.2-inch Display and 4230 mAh battery. The images on listing page also confirm the dual camera setup on back and a notch above the display. The back of the phone will also feature company’s trademark diamond cut design that we saw on Realme 1.

The previous leak confirmed 6.2-inch HD+ display, 1.8Ghz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor, 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB storage, ColorOS 5.1, 13MP+2MP rear camera, 8MP front camera, Face Unlock, Fingerprint Sensor and 4230 mAh battery.

So, we now know everything about the phone before the official launch. The phone will be priced below Rs. 10,000. I am expecting the starting price of the phone to be Rs. 8999.

The company is teasing the phone with hashtag #ANotchAbove. That means the primary marketing feature is notch. It will also be the first phone with notch below Rs. 10000.

If you go by leaked specifications, the phone look exactly same as recently launched Oppo A5. Oppo A5 also features 6.2-inch HD+ display and 4230 mAh battery. Other specifications are also similar to what we saw in leaked specs sheet.

If leaked specs true, Realme 2 seems to be a downgraded from Realme 1 in. The predecessor came with Full HD+ display and Helio P60 chipset. So, display and performance both have been downgraded. Now we have to wait 2 more days to know about the official launch for confirmed specifications.
