Sony has just announced the special edition PS4 consoles dubbed as “PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition”. As the name suggests, this is to celebrate 500 million sales of PlayStation consoles since the brand’s inception in 1994.

The PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition will be released on August 24 with a price tab of EUR 499. It comes in a special translucent collector’s box. Inside the box, you will get a translucent dark blue 2TB PlayStation 4 Pro. It comes with a blue power light on and lets you glimpse into the illuminated interior of the super-charged PS4. It has a copper plate on its front, with its unique limited edition number etched on. See this unboxing video.

You will also find translucent dark blue vertical stand and mono-headset in the box along with special dark blue PlayStation Camera and matching stand.

The wireless controller included with the PS4 Pro 500 Million Limited Edition will also be available separately for €64.

The company has also announced a commemorative Gold Wireless Headset 500 Million Limited Edition. It also features same dark blue translucent design with copper detailing. It will be available from 11th October for €89.
