OPPO R17 with 6.4-inch Full HD+ Display, 8GB RAM, In-display Fingerprint Sensor Goes Official

Oppo has finally confirmed the specifications of Oppo R17 via a listing on its website.  The listing also reveals the same design that we saw in leaks.

The phone will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ 19:9 aspect ratio display with a notch and 91.5% screen-to-body ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection. So, this will be the first phone in market with Gorilla Glass 6. It will pack Octa-Core Snapdragon 670 processor with Adreno 615 GPU and 8GB RAM.

The phone will come with ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). There will be a dual rear camera on the back with 16 megapixels primary sensor. It will also features a 25 megapixels AI front camera with f/2.0 aperture, Sony IMX576 sensor and 3D Portrait.

After Vivo, this phone will also bring in-display fingerprint sensor but there will also be a low-end model with rear-mounted fingerprint sensor. It will also pack 3500mAh battery with VOOC Flash charge.

The listing says that the phone will be up for order starting August 18. So, we can expect the official launch of the phone this week.
