Oppo has just announced its new mid-range phone Oppo F9 in Vietnam and Philippines. It comes with smaller notch and a unique design.
OPPO F9 features a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display with Waterdrop Screen. The company claims that the new waterdrop design increases viewing space. It claims screen-to-body ratio up to 90.8%. Display also has Gorilla Glass 6 protection. The phone runs on ColorOS 5.2 based on Android 8.1. It is powered by Octa Core MediaTek Helio P60 12nm processor with ARM Mali-G72 MP3 GPU.
It comes in 6GB and 6GB RAM options. Storage of the phone is also 64GB with an option to expand it up to 256. It features a dedicated microSD card slot along with 2 nano SIM slots.
The phone has dual camera camera on the back with 16 megapixels primary and 2 megapixels secondary camera. It also has 25 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI and Sony IMX576 sensor.
Fingerprint sensor is located on the back. It offers Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity. It packs 3500 mAh battery with VOOC Flash charge fast charging.

The phone uses advanced color processes and gradient design on the side frame. It comes in three colors: Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple. The first two features tessellated pattern and the last one is speckled with gold “stars”. Dimensions measure 156.7x74x7.9mm and it weighs 169g
This phone will also launched as F9 Pro in India on August 21st.
