HMD Global has just launched the Nokia 6.1 Plus in India. It is the global version of Nokia X6 smartphone launched last month. Nokia 6.1 Plus is priced at Rs.15,999 and will be available exclusively from Flipkart and Nokia.com/phones starting from August 30.
The phone has 2.5D curved glass back and a metal frame. Dimensions measure 147.2 x 70.98 x 7.99~8.59mm and it Weighs 151g. It come in Gloss Midnight Blue, Gloss White and Gloss Black colors.
Nokia 6.1 Plus features a 5.8-inch Full HD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The phone packs 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm processor with Adreno 509 GPU and 4GB RAM. It comes with 64GB storage that is expandable up to 400GB.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and is upgradeable to Android P. Like other Nokia phones, it will also be receding all monthly security updates timely. The phone integrates Google Lens and other powerful AI features.
It features a dual camera setup that includes 16 megapixels RGB sensor with f/2.0 aperture, 1.0um pixel size, EIS and 5 megapixels monochrome sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 1.2um pixel size. It also has 16-megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It has a fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. It also features Face Unlock. It has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and Type-C connectivity options. It packs 3060 mAh battery.
At this price, the phone will directly compete against Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 6GB, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Honor 9N and Xiaomi Mi A2.
