Mobiistar launches a series of selfie smartphones for Indian offline market

Vietnam-based Mobiistar has announced the launch of new selfie smartphones Mobiistar C1 Lite, C1, C2, E1 Selfie and X1 Dual in India. Unlike previous phones of Mobiistar, these new phones will be sold via offline market.

Mobiistar C1 Lite, C1, C2, E1 Selfie and X1 Dual are priced at Rs. 4,340, Rs. 5,400, Rs. 6,300, Rs. 8,400 and Rs. 10,500, respectively. All these phones will be available through 600 distributors across the country. The company also claims to have over 1000 service centres pan India for providing after sales service.

Mobiistar C1 Lite features 5.43-inch FWVGA+ 18:9 display, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage (expandable up to 128GB), 5 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, 5 megapixels front camera, 4G VoLTE and 2700 mAh battery.

Mobiistar C1 comes with 5.34-inch FWVGA+ 18:9 display, 2GB RAM, 16GB storage, 5 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, 8 megapixels front camera, 4G VoLTE, 3000 mAh battery.

Mobiistar C2 offers 5.34-inch FWVGA+ 18:9 dispay, 2GB RAM, 16GB of storage, Android 8.1 (Oreo), 8 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, 8 megapixels front camera, fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE and 3000mAh battery.

Mobiistar E1 Selfie features 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 display, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage, 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, 13 megapixels front camera, fingerprint sensor,4G VoLTE and 3000 mAh battery.

Last phone is Mobiistar X1 Dual that features 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 display, 1.3 GHz Quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor, Mali T720 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32 GB storage, Android 8.1 Oreo, 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash, dual camera (13 MP + 8 MP) front camera with LED flash, fingerprint sensor, 4G VoLTE and 3000 mAh battery.

Mobiistar knows that India’s budget phone market is big and is currently being enjoyed by Xiaomi. It also knows the selfie obsession of Indian people. So, it decided to launch selfie phones for budget segment.
