LG has launched its flagship smartphone LG G7+ ThinQ. The phone was introduced back in May and the company took over 2 months to bring it in India. The phone will be available exclusively from Flipkart and costs Rs. 39990. It will be available starting August 10th during The Big Freedom sale.

LG G7+ ThinQ features a 6.1-19.5:9 FullVision Super Bright IPS Display with 3120 x 1440 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The phone runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with LG UX. The phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 Processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It has 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB storage (UFS 2.1) storage with option to expand storage up to 2TB.

The phone features a dual camera that includes 16 megapixels primary camera with f/1.6 aperture, 71-degree wide-angle lens and 16 megapixels secondary camera with 107-degree super-wide-angle lens with f/1.9 aperture, LED flash. The phone also features 8 megapixels front camera with f/1.9 aperture and 80-degree wide-angle lens.

It has a fingerprint sensor and supports Face Unlock. It also features a dedicated Google Assistant button. The phone is water and dust resistant with IP68 rating. It is also MIL-STD 810G certified.

For good audio experience, it has 32-bit Advanced Hi-Fi Quad DAC and Boombox Speaker. It also features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs 3000 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 and wireless charging.

The phone packs really hardware at this price where no other phone can compete with this. The only thing I am worried is the battery life. 2K display will consume more battery and battery is just of 3000 mAh. It will be competing with OnePlus 6, Asus Zenfone 5Z and Vivo NEX like smartphones. And no other competitors offer IP68 rating and wireless charging.
