Acer has also announced the pricing and availability of Swift 5 (SF515-51T) laptop, the world’s lightest notebook PC with a 15-inch display. It delivers exceptional performance but weighs just 990 grams.

Acer Swift 5 comes with a magnesium-lithium alloy body and build is strong. You get 8th-generation Intel Core i7 and i5 processor options. It features Full HD 1920×1080 IPS touchscreen display with ultra-narrow bezels. It claims 87.6% screen-to-body. It also has wide viewing angles for good experience.

It features 2×2 802.11ac wireless Gigabit performance and come with USB 3.1 Type-C Gen-2 port delivering high-speed 10 Gbps data transfers. Other options include two USB 3.1 Type-A ports and an HDMI port. It uses one USB 3.1 Type-A for charging.

Acer claims the battery life of up to 10 hours for a whole day productivity.

There is also a Acer Swift 5 (SF514-53T), 14-inch version of the Swift 5. It features same durable magnesium-lithium alloy design, 14-inch 1080p display and 8th-generation Intel Core processors. You get Intel Core i7-8565U and Intel Core i5-8265U processor options.

It claims to offer up to 8 hours of battery life. It also features same connectivity options as in SF515-51T model. Swift 5 (SF514-53T) weighs only 970 grams (2.14 pounds) and measures only 14.9 mm (0.59 inches) thin.

Acer has also refreshed the Swift 3 lineup of laptops. New models come with slimmer bezels to make the devices more portable . The Acer Swift 3 (SF314-55) with 14-inch display will be available in North America in November, starting at $799.99.

Aspire 3, 5 and 7 notebook series have been updated with the latest components, including 8th-generation Intel Core processors and support for Intel Optane memory. These models will be available by the December this year.
