After several leaks, finally Oppo A5 is official. The company has announced its latest mid-range smartphone Oppo A5 in China.

The phone has dazzling illusion texture on the back that looks really good. It uses nano-scale microcrystalline technology for this.

OPPO A5 features a 6.2-inch HD+18:9 FullView 2.5D curved glass display. The phone also features a notch at the top of the display. It runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 (Oreo). It packs 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage with an option to expand storage up to 256GB.

The phone has dual camera that includes 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 2 megapixels secondary camera. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.2 aperture. Front camera comes with AI beautify features that intelligently recognizes 296 facial features.

Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS and USB OTG. It packs 4230mAh battery that claims to offer 14 hours of video playback and 11 hours of gaming.

The phone comes in Mirror Blue and Mirror Pink colors. It is priced t 1500 yuan and is now available for oder. It will go on sale on July 13.
