MSI PS42 comes in two models including MSI PS42 8M and MSI PS42 8RB. Both differ only in processor configuration. MSI PS42 laptops feature 14-inch Full HD IPS anti-glare display.
MSI PS42 8M packs 8th Gen. Intel Core i5 U-Processor while MSI PS42 8RB packs 8th Gen. Intel Core i7 U-Processor and Geforce MX150 with 2GB GDDR5 memory. It also has exclusive Cooler Boost 3 with 2 dedicated fans and 3 heat pipes to keep it cool. Both model come with 8GB DDR4 RAM that you can expand up to 16GB and 512 GB SSD storage.
It has 2 2W speaker and HD web cam that can record 720p at 30 fps. It has Backlight Keyboard and fingerprint sensor. It also includes SD card reader, 1 USB type-C port, 1 USB Type-A port and 1 HDMI port.
It has elegant silver aesthetic design. It features ultra-light hair-brushed aluminum chassis. So weighs just 1.19 grams and is 15.69 mm thin. It packs 50Wh lithium-polymer battery and claims to offer up to 10 hours of battery.
