HP Pavilion 15, Omen 15 Gaming Laptops Launched in India Starting at Rs. 74,990

HP has launched two new gaming laptops HP Pavilion 15 and HP Omen 15 in India. The Pavilion 15 aims budget gamers while the Omen 15 is for premium high end gamers. Pavilion 15 starts at Rs. 74,990 and goes as high as Rs. 94,990. On other hand, Omen 15 starts at Rs 105,990 and goes up to 1,49,990.

HP Pavilion 15 features a 15.6-inch full-HD backlit widescreen IPS display offering 220 nits brightness, and pixel density of 144ppi. It is powered by 8th gen Intel Core processors starting from Core i5-8300H up to a Core i7- with base frequency of 2.3GHz. it packs up to a dedicated 4GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti and also comes with Intel’s UHD Graphics 630 built in. It also claims to come with an advanced thermal management hardware to keep temperature low even after long gaming.

HP Pavilion 15

It has 8GB of 2666MHz DDR4 RAM and 1 TB HDD. Top two models also come with 128GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD. It also has Bang and Olufsen powered speaker got good audio. Connectivity options include USB 3.1 Type-C Gen 1, 3 USB 3.1 Gen 1, 1 headphone jack, 1 RJ-45, and an HDMI v2.0.

It weighs 2.2kg and measure 366×256.5×25.4mm. It comes with brushed black body with violet accents for the logo. It has relatively sleek build for a gaming machine.

HP Omen 15 is for high-end gaming. It is powered by 8th-gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor with 2.2 Ghz base frequency and Intel Turbo Boost technology. It features 15.6-inch UHD IPS anti-glare display with refresh rate of 144Hz. It offers Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050Ti, GeForce GTX 1060, and a GeForce GTX 1070 graphics option. It has 8GB and 16GB DDR4 RAM models with expandable up to 32 GB.

HP Omen 15

It comes with 1TB HDD clocked at 7200RPM and a 128GB PCIe NVMe SSD. It also has three USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, one USB 3.1 Type-C, one Mini DisplayPort, one headphone jack, an RJ-45 port, and one HDMI v2.0 port.

It features full-size 4-zone lighting backlit keyboard with numeric keypad. It also comes with HP Audio Boost, DTS Headphone:X support and Bang & Olufsen powered speaker.

It measures 359.9×262.9×24.9mm and weighs 2.38kg. It has same design as its predecessor, but it is thinner and lighter. It also has slim bezels and re-engineered internals.
