Dell Launches New Gaming Laptops

Dell has introduced the new refreshed G3, G7, Alienware 15, 17 gaming laptops in India. It has now included 8th-gen Core processors and Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 10-Series graphics cards. The Alienware laptops come with an optional Intel Core i9 processors alongside Dell’s mechanically engineered Alienware Cryo-Tech v2.0 cooling solution.

Dell G3 15 is powered by Intel’s 8th-gen Coffee Lake Core processors with up to a GTX 1050Ti Nvidia graphics card. It offers both SSD storage and mechanical hard drives options.

It features 15-inch full-HD anti-glare display with wide viewing angle, It also has SmartByte technology to offer improved streaming and prioritise visual content. There are two front-firing speakers backed by Waves MaxxAudio Pro. It has spill-resistant backlit keyboard.

Pricing of G3 15 lineup starts at Rs. 80,990 and will be available from tomorrow, July 6, on Dell’s official India store. It will also be available at third-party retailers from July 13.

Dell G7 15 has better specs that G3 15 and offers an optional Intel Core i9 processor and Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1060 GPU. It features a front air intake and rear exhaust vent. There is also a dual-fan cooling technology along with large-size cooling vents.

It also features same 15-inch full-HD anti-glare display offering wide-viewing angle with SmartByte technology. There are two front-firing speakers backed by Waves MaxxAudio Pro.

It comes in comes in Standard Black and Alpine White colour options.

It starts at Rs. 1,24,690, and will be available starting tomorrow, July 6, from Dell’s official India store. It will also be a available at third-party retailers from July 13.

Alienware 15 and 17 laptops feature an overclockable Intel Core i9-8950HK six-core mobile CPU that also supports single core turbo frequency of up to 4.6-4.8GHz. There are also 8th-Gen Core i5 or i7 chipset options. The NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 with up to 8GB of VRAM is also available in these units.

You also get DDR4 RAM capable of up to 2,666MHz with two SODIMM slots with up to 32GB pre-installed. You can also expand as per your gaming need.

Alienware 15 and 17

These laptops come with “TactX” keyboard to suit the needs of gamers. There is also a steel back plate to guarantee that no key damage even with heavy use. Keyboards in both laptops support over 80 quadrillion lighting combinations via 13 unique programmable lighting zones with up to 20 distinct colours.

New speakers are also designed to offer better sound. Alienware laptops come with Thunderbolt port and a high-speed Wi-Fi with support for up to 1.73Gbps.

Both laptops pack 68Wh and 99Wh battery respectively with 180W and 240W charging solutions.

Both the Alienware 15 and 17 laptops will up for sale in India on July 13 at starting price of Rs. 1,46,890 with the Core i9 variant going up to Rs 3,20,990 for the Alienware 17.
