Asus has finally released the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant of its new flagship Asus Zenfone 5Z in India. The phone will go on sale starting July 30 for Rs. 36999. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart.
The phone was initially available with 6GB RAM that came with two storage options: 64GB and 128GB. The 6GB RAM + 64GB variant costs Rs. 29999 and 6GB RAM + 128GB variant is priced at Rs. 32999. Now the high end variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage will go on sale.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z brings high-end specifications for an aggressive pricing. The phone comes with 6.2-inch SuperIPS FHD+ display with 19:9 aspect ratio. Display also features a notch. It has Octa core Snapdragon 845 processors. It runs on Android 8.0 with ZenUI 5.0 at top.
The phone features a rear dual camera setup that includes 12 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture and 8 megapixels secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. It also has 8 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It comes with rear fingerprint sensor, face unlock and NFC like options. Other connectivity options include dual 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/ac/b/g/n/n, Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C. It also features ZeniMoji that is similar to Apple’s Animoji.
The phone comes with 3300 mAh battery with Qualcomm QuickCharge 3.0. It also features AI charging to maximize the battery life.
