Asus has launched its new flagship smartphone Asus Zenfone 5Z in Indian market. The phone will be available exclusively from Flipkart starting at Rs. 29999.
Asus Zenfone 5Z comes with premium glass build where both front and back have gorilla glass protection. Dimensions of the phone measure 153×75.65×7.85mm and it weighs 155g. It will be available in Midnight Blue and Meteor Silver color options.
The phone features 6.2-inch Full HD+ 19:9 2.5D curved glass Super IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The phone runs on Android 8.0 (Oreo) with ZenUI 5.0 and is also upgradable to Android P.

The phone is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes in three RAM/Stroage variants: 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB storage. Storage is also expandable up to 2TB with microSD card.
Asus Zenfone 5Z features a dual camera setup that includes 12 megapixels primary camera with dual-tone LED Flash, Sony IMX363 sensor, 1.4μm pixel size, f/1.8 aperture, 0.03s Tri Tech auto-focus,Dual Pixel PDAF, 4-axis OIS, EIS, Pro mode with RAW support and 8 megapixels secondary camera with f/2.0 aperture, OV8856 sensor, 120-degree wide-angle lens. It also features a 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture, OV8856 sensor, 83-degree wide-angle lens.
It has Fingerprint sensor on the back and also supports Face unlock. It has Dual speakers with NXP 9874 Smart AMP, Hi-Res Audio 192kHz/24b-bit, DTS Headphone: X for 7.1 channel surround sound and triple microphones setup. Even if supports Type-C Audio, it also comes with 3.5mm audio jack and FM Radio.
Connectivity features include Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C (2.0). It packs 3300mAh battery with ASUS BoostMaster fast charging and AI charging.
