Vivo has launched its new mid-range smartphone, Vivo Y83 in India with interesting features. This ‘Y Series’ smartphone is one of the most affordable smartphones in India with a FullView display offering an 18:9 aspect ratio display. The company has launched Vivo Y83 for Rs 14,990 and it is available on all the leading offline stores in Black color.

The Vivo Y83 runs Android 8.1 Oreo operating system topped with FunTouch OS.  The smartphone comes with a 6.22-inch (1520×720 pixels)  HD+ screen display, 2.15mm narrow bezels and 88% screen-to-body ratio. It has a notch on the top. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset coupled with 4 GB RAM. It has 32 GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256 GB via a micro SD card.

The Vivo Y83 features 13MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. It has an 8MP front camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The front camera comes with AI beauty features and users can also use it to unlock their smartphone.

The smartphone is powered by a 3,260 mAh battery. It is a dual-SIM smartphone and has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 8, Bluetooth 5 and GPS as connectivity options.

The smartphone also boasts a custom Vivo JOVI AI Assistant.
