Samsung has officially introduced two new smartphones Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and A9 Star Lite in China. These phones are now available for pre-booking and will go on sale starting June 15.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star comes with 6.28-inch FHD+ (1080×2220 pixels) FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone packs 4GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of storage. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.
The phone has dual camera that includes 16 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 24 megapixels secondary sensor. It also has 24 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The phone has Fingerprint sensor located on the back panel. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE and GPS with GLONASS. It packs 3700 mAh battery with fast charging.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite is smaller in size. It features a 6-inch (1080 x 2220 pixels) FHD+ Super AMOLED 18.5: 9 Infinity 2.5D curved glass display. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It is powered by a 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It also has 4 GB RAM and 64GB of storage with option to expand storage up to 256GB,
The phone has dual camera setup that includes 16 megapixels rear camera with f/1.7 aperture and 5 megapixels secondary rear camera with f/1.9 aperture. It also has 24 megapixels front camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash.
It has Fingerprint sensor and Dolby Atmos. Connectivity features include4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n (2.4/5GHz), HT40, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and GPS. It packs 3500 mAh battery.
Samsung Galaxy A9 Star comes in Black and White colors while the A9 Star Lite comes in Black and Blue colors. Samsung Galaxy A9 Star costs 2999 Yuan and Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite is priced at 1999 Yuan.
