Patanjali Messaging app which went live yesterday on Google Play store has been removed today. Some of the users raised data security concern after downloading and using it. A French researcher, Elliot Alderson has also flagged serious security concerns in Baba Ramdev’s Kimbho app.

Patanjali spokesperson S K Tijarawala tweeted that this app was only uploaded for a single day on “trial” basis. They will live this app again with a formal launch soon. “Big technology-based apps in India are being run by MNCs; Patanjali believes it is time there is a swadeshi app run and developed entirely by our own people,” Tijarawala said.

“Kimbho” is a Sanskrit word which means ‘what’s up’. They tried to give direct competition to Whatsapp but failed. They claimed that in just three hours, 1.5 lakh people downloaded this app and used it. But the news is spreading another way around.

Well, The app is removed from google play but app developers are very fast. So, now there are many apps just like Kimbho on Google Play. So, Don’t try to download this app now otherwise no one will take responsibility for any disaster.
