Oppo has finally announced its flagship smartphone Oppo Find X at an event in Paris. The phone not just bring high end specs but also few notable design elements.

The most notable thing in this phone is its sliding camera module. This module is hidden inside the chassis and pops up when you open the camera app. It house both front and rear camera setups. The phone has 3D glass body with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection both on the front and the back.

OPPO Find X features a 6.42-inch Full HD+ AMOLED Panoramic Arc display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with ColorOS 5.1. The phone packs 2.5GHz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 10nm Processor with Adreno 630 GPU.

It features dual rear camera that has 16 megapixels primary sensor with f/2.0 aperture and 20 megapixels secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. The camera also features LED also and OIS. It also has 25 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

It features 3D face unlock that is being called -Face Recognition. It uses 3D Structured Light Technology and claims to be 20 times safer than fingerprint recognition for phone unlock. It also features 3D Omoji, similar to Apple’s Animoji that captures facial expressions in real time to accurately present you in a fun way.

The phone has USB Type-C audio, DSP module and NXP noise reduction. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and USB Type-C. It packs 3730 mAH battery with VOOC flash charge fast charging. It promises 2 hours of talk time with 5 minutes of charge.

The phone comes in Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue colors. So, it offers gradient effect at different angles. It is priced at 999 Euros and will be available starting from August. It will be launched in China on June 29 and in India on July 12.
