Motorola just announced its new smartphone Moto Z3 Play. Like other Z series smartphones, it also comes Moto Mods support.
Moto Z3 Play comes with 6-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo). The phone is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm processor with Adreno 509 GPU. It has 4 GB RAM and comes in 32 GB or 64GB storage options. Storage is also expandable up to 2TB.
The phone has dual camera setup where it includes 12 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and 5 megapixels secondary sensor with f/2.2 aperture. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4 GHz + 5 GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, NFC and USB Type-C. It lacks headphone jack and supports USB Type-C audio
It also packs 3000mAh battery with Turbocharging. The phone is bundled with battery mod that offers 40 hours of combined battery life.
Moto Z3 Play comes with glass back with Gorilla Glass protection. It has Water repellent nano-coating and Splash-resistant (p2i) build. It has Front ported loud speaker and 4 far-field mic system. Dimensions measure 156.5 x 76.5 x 6.7mm and it weighs 156g.
The phone is priced at R$ 2,299 in Brazil and will be available this month. It will also be available inUS this summer and other countries in coming months.
