LG Q Stylus+, Q Stylus and Q Stylus α with FullVision display and military-level durability announced

LG is still not giving up with stylus. The company has just announced LG Q Stylus+, Q Stylus and Q Stylus α smartphones. These phones look similar but differ in specifications.

The most notable thing in these phones is the military grade durability with MIL-STD 810G rating. LG Q Stylus+ and Q Stylus are IP68-certified for water and dust resistance.

All these phones feature 6.2-inch 18:9 FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) 18:9 FullVision 2.5D curved glass display and run on Android 8.1 Oreo. It is powered by 1.5GHz Octa-Core or 1.8GHz Octa-Core processor but the company didn’t confirm the chipset used in different models.

Q Stylus comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage, Q Stylus+ offers 4GB RAM and 64GB storage and the Q Stylus α comes with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage. All models support expandable storage up to 2TB.

Q Stylus and Q Stylus+ come with same camera setup. These models have 16 megapixels rear camera and 8 megapixels or 5 megapixels front camera depending on regions. Q Stylus α come with 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera.

These phones also come with Portrait mode, QLens and DTS:X 3D Surround Sound. Fingerprint sensor is located on the rear panel and it can also work as shutter button for camera.

Even when the display is off, LG Q Stylus phones will recognize and record handwritten notes.

Connectivity features of these phones include 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, NFC, GPS / GLONASS and USB Type-C 2.0. It also packs 3300 mAh battery with support to fast charging.
