At WWDC 18, Apple has introduced the next version of its Mac operating system dubbed as “macOS Mojave”.

The macOS Mojave features a Dark Mode to invert the colors of everything.

It brings a new feature ‘Desktop Stacks’ that automatically arranges content on your desktop into ‘Stacks’. It helps in clearing your messy desktop. It will group together images, PDFs and other kinds of files.

Finder now has a carousel for pick files and check previews easily. It also shows a sidebar with detailed metadata along with buttons for quick actions.

There is a Continuity Camera feature that lets you invoke your phone’s camera from a desktop app that requires an image. For example in Keynote app, you can right click and add a photo using iPhone.

Apple has also upgraded the screenshot tool. Now screenshot shows a thumbnail which, when clicked, displays an array of tools for editing and marking up your screenshot. You can also record a video of whatever’s on your screen.

Apple News is also coming to macOS. So, you will have a dedicated app with your selections and recommendations. Stocks app and Voice Memos is also coming to the Mac.

Apple Home will also be available on Mac. So, you can command your home with your voice and control your connected devices.

Apple has also brought the design changes to Mc App store. The new interface attempts to improve experience. It also brings video previews of Mac apps for the first time. Apple has confirmed the Microsoft will bring its Office suite to the Mac App Store.

Apple has also introduced a Create ML, a new tool for data scientists. You can use it to train a model without being a machine learning expert and use your local machine for small projects.
