Amazon India has silently introduced monthly subscription of Prime membership. You can now become a Prime member by paying Rs. 129 per month. There are also few notable things you must know before you go and buy the monthly subscription.

Amazon customers can use this option only by using credit or debit card and debit card is also limited to just HDFC and ICIC bands. Primary reason for this is to have an auto-renew option. So, your subscription will be renewed automatically at the end of every 30 days. If you do not want to be prime customer, you can cancel it manually.

This monthly plan can be useful during sales when users could think of availing the Prime benefits. Prime members generally get early offers and option for free one-day or two-day deliveries. Users opting for monthly membership will also be the same benefits of faster deliveries, Amazon Prime Video & Amazon Music subscription along with access to exclusive deals.

If you do not want to pay Rs. 999 for a full year membership, you can buy the monthly subscriptions when you need Prime services.
