Xiaomi just announced its latest selfie phone Redmi S2 at an event in China. The phone comes in Rose gold, Champagne Gold and Platinum Silver colors.

Xiaomi Redmi S2 features a 5.99-inch HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display and runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9. The phone is powered by 2GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 625 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage models. Storage is also expandable up to 256GB.

The phone has dual camera setup. The primary sensor is of 12 megapixels primary sensor with LED Flash, 1.25μm pixel size, PDAF and f/2.2 aperture. The secondary sensor is of 5 megapixels. It also has 16 megapixels front camera with front LED flash.Xiaomi Redmi S2

The phone has both Fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor. It has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS connectivity options. It packs 3080 mAh battery.
