Vivo X21i With 19:9 Display, MediaTek Helio P60 SoC, 24MP Front Camera Launched

Vivo has launched a new smartphone Vivo X21i in China. The phone looks similar to Vivo X21 in terms of design and features but with few notable changes in specs.

Vivo X21i features MediaTek’s Helio P60 as opposed to the Snapdragon 660 in Vivo X21. Front camera has been upgraded from 12 megapixels to 24 megapixels.

Vivo X21i features a 6.28-inch full-HD+ (1080×2280 pixels) Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D curved glass. The display as notch design and phone claims to have screen-to-body ratio of 90.3 percent.

It packs MediaTek Helio P60 (MT6771) SoC. There is also a dedicated AI-focused APU. It comes in 4GB RAM with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB storage options. Both variants cost 2698 Yuan in China. It runs Android 8.1-based FunTouch OS 4.0 out-of-the-box.

The phone featurs dual camera setup that has a primary 12-megapixel sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a secondary 5-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 aperture. It has 24 megapixels front camera with AI Beauty mode and facial recognition for face unlock.

Connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, and USB 2.0. It packs 3245mAh battery. It comes in three colors – Ruby Red, Aurora White and Polar Night Black. Dimensions measure 154.37×74.98×6.99mm.

Now it is available for pre-order one from Vivo’s online stores at JD.com, Tmall, or Suning. It will be available starting May 19.
