An article from XDA Developers revealed new leaked images of the Moto Z3 Play and a new Moto Mod with 5G connectivity. They claimed to have obtained internal promotional documents from Lenovo.

Till now, all we know from rumors that the Moto Z3 Play will sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor with 4GB of RAM. It will have a 6-inch 18:9 FHD+ AMOLED display, and dual cameras on the back. Moto Z3 Play will be sporting an aluminum body with 2.5D Gorilla Glass at the front for slight display curves. It will also have a 3,000 mAh of battery and support microSD cards to expand the 32GB or 64GB of storage.

The XDA developer mentioned in their post that the company is adding a few camera features, and “Moto Experiences” and further refining tried-and-true functionality like Moto Display and Moto Voice. There is not much information about the software of Moto Z3 Play but it is expected that it will run on Android  8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box.

The leaked images show a front and side look at the upcoming Moto Z3 Play. We can see in the leaked image that the device will have a virtually borderless display and dual rear cameras. Images also reveal an upcoming Moto Mod that will probably add 5G functionality to Moto Z series smartphones.

These are the specifications and design that we concluded from the rumors and leaked images. For more updates, we have to wait until the launch of the Moto Z3 Play.
