Acer Unveils 15.6-inch Swift 5 That Weighs less than 1 KG

Today, Acer announced its new Swift 5 notebook for users who need performance but with portability.

The new Acer Swift 5 comes with 15.6 inch display and still it weighs less than 1 KH. So, it is ideal for people who need to work on the go. The display has 15.6-inch with Full HD resolution. The display features just 5.87-mm thick bezels.

This laptop comes in specially-designed chassis featuring top and bottom covers made of magnesium-lithium alloys. With this, it ensures light weight.

The laptop is powered by latest Intel Core processors but company didn’t confirm the exact processor family. It will come with up to 16 GB DDR4 memory, and SSDs up to 1TB in size.

It will feature Intel’s Wireless-AC 9560 2×2 802.11ac + Bluetooth 5 controller. Other connectivity options include USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.1 Type-A headers, an HDMI output, an SD card reader, and a TRRS audio jack. It also features a webcam and fingerprint reader that support Windows Hello facial recognition.

Acer has yet to disclose final specifications and it has even not confirmed the price. The Acer Swift 5 will be coming later this year and we should know the pricing details and full specs at the time of its availability.
