Xiaomi has just announced its latest Mi 6X smartphone in China. We already saw the phone in several leaks before it became official. It comes in Black, Blue, Red, Gold and Rose Gold color options and will go on sale in China starting April 27.
Xiaomi Mi 6X features a 5.99-inch Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass display. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 660 14nm processor with Adreno 512 GPU. The phone comes in three variants: 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 6GB RAM with 128GB storage. All these variants support expandable storage of up to 128GB.
The phone runs on MIUI based on Android 8.1 Oreo. You get Hybrid Dual SIM, so you can only expand the storage if you want to use one sim.
There is a dual camera setup on the phone. It has 12 megapixels primary sensor with f/1.75 aperture, Sony IMX486 sensor and 1.25μm pixel size along with 20 megapixels secondary Sony IMX376 sensor to capture depth information for portrait shots . It has intelligent scent detection that can detect 206 different scenes and AI for perfect camera settings. It also has 20 megapixels front camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, soft LED flash and AI beautification.
The phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and supports Face Unlock. It also supports USB Type-C audio and lacks headphone jack. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz / 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS + GLONASS and USB Type-C.It packs 3010 mAh battery with support to QuickCharge 3.0.
