Vivo has launched its new smartphone Vivo Y71 in Indian market. This phone is priced at Rs. 10990 and comes with 18:9 Display. So, Vivo Y71 has become the first phone of Y series to feature 18:9 Display.

Vivo Y71 comes with 5.99-inch display with an HD+ (1440X720 pixels) resolution having 18:9 aspect ratio. The phone is powered by a octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 3GB RAM. It has 16 GB of storage with option to expand storage.

It runs on FunTouch OS based on Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. The phone features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 5 megapixels front camera. Front camera also supports face unlocking.

It has 4G LTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB connectivity options.The phone packs 3360 mAh battery. It measure 154.81 x 75.03 x 7.89 mm.

At this price, this phone will compete with Redmi Note 5 and Honor 9 Lite. Redmi Note 5 packs better performance and Honor 9 Lite comes with quad-camera setup. But Vivo’s offline reach can give it an advantage.
