On Thursday, Thomson launched its range of smart TVs in India. The company has launched Three smart Tvs in India and all these models will be sold exclusively via Flipkart starting Friday, April 13.
Considering the high competition from Xiaomi and Vu, the company has chosen the aggressive pricing. Here is the pricing:
- 32 HD SMART (32M3277) – Rs. 13,490
- 40 Full HD SMART (40TM4099) – Rs. 19,990
\43 UHD 4K (43TM4377) – Rs. 27,999
These Smart TVs run on Android 4.4 and come with Gmail, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Netflix apps pre-installed. There is also Aptoide store to download any app.
The 32-inch (32M3277) model comes with 32-inch (1366×768 pixels) HD LED display. It has ARM Cortex A53 64-bit Processor with Mali-450MP3 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It also offers 8 GB of storage. There are two 10W speakers and WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), 3 x HDMI, USB 2.0 x 2, Ethernet connectivity.
The 40-inch (40TM4099) got similar hardware specs but the only difference is in display panel. It has 40-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) Full HD LED display.
The 43-inch (43TM4377) model has 43-inch (3840 x 2160 pixels) Ultra HD LED display. It packs ARM Cortex A53 64-bitProcessor with Multi Core Mali-T720 GPU and 1 GB RAM. It offers 8 Gb of storage and supports WiFi 802.11 b/g/n (2.4 GHz), 3 x HDMI, USB 2.0 x 2 and Ethernet connectivity. It also has two 10 W speakers.
At this price, these Smart TVs will surely get attention of consumers. The 43-inch model with 4K display is something people would like to go with.
