ZTE’s Nubia brand just announced the Nubia Red Magic, its first gaming phone in China. After Razor Phone and Black Shark, this is the third dedicated phone for gamers.
Nubia Red Magic comes with 6-inch Full HD+ 18:9 display. It is powered by a 2.45GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 835 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 540 GPU. It comes in 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and 8GB RAM with 128GB storage models. It runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with Nubia Red Magic OS.
It features 24 megapixels rear camera with f/1.7 aperture, 6P lens and dual-tone LED flash. It also has 8 megapixels front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
It has fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. It also got TAS2555 Amplifier and DTS audio. There is also a Dedicated Gaming button.
The phone claims that the phone has special features to help with heat dissipation for intense gaming. It has Air cooling. It has special gaming button on the side to give you performance boost when you need. It limits background network and gives option to block calls, SMS, notifications for less interruption while gaming. The phone has been Nubia has optimized 128 games fully offering high-frame rate, smoother performance and also better loading time.
It supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs 3800 mAh battery with fast charging.
Dimensions of the phone measure 158.1× 74.9x 9.5~6.85mm and it weighs 185g. It comes in Black and Red colors.
The phone is priced at 2499 yuan for 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant and 2999 yuan for 8GB RAM with 128GB storage variant.
