New Nokia 6 with 5.5-inch display 16 megapixels Zeiss Optics Camera launched in India at Rs. 16999

Nokia has launched its new Nokia 6 android one smartphone in India. The phone has unibody metal design made of 6000 series aluminium. It is priced at Rs. 16999 and comes in Black/Copper, White/Iron and Blue/Gold colors. It will be available starting from April 6.

New Nokia 6 features a 5.5-inch 1080p display with 2.5D curved glass and Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by 2.2 GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 630 14nm processor with Adreno 508 GPU. It has 3GB RAM and 32 GB of storage. The storage is expandable up to 128GB.

The phone has 16 megapixels rear camera with dual tone LED flash, ZEISS optics, PDAF, 1.0um sensor and f/2.0 aperture. It also has 8 megapixels front-facing camera, 1.12um sensor, f/2.0 aperture, 84 degree wide-angle lens.

The phone features 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, NFC, USB Type-C (2.0) connectivity options. It has fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. The phone has single speaker unit and supports Nokia’s spatial audio technology with 2 microphones.

It also packs 3000 mAh battery with support to fast charging. The company claims up to 16 hours of talk time and 507 hours of standby time.

It seems the company wants to target offline segment. It is because the pricing of the phone puts it in direct competition of Redmi Note 5 Pro that looks better than this New Nokia 6.
