Today, Asus and Flipkart announced their new partnership for selling Asus products exclusively in India. This will start with selling Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1. The phone will become official next week on April 23.

We do not have much details but Flipkart confirmed the presence of Snapdragon 636. Other specifications of the phone are not known yet and we will have to wait for the launch.

Max is the battery focused series from Asus, so this phone will come with powerful battery back. We can expect 18:9 display as this is in trend.

Flipkart will not just be selling Asus phones, but they have also signed a memorandum of understanding. Under this MOU, Flipkart will also hep Asus to design phones for the Indian market based on consumer insights.

Flipkart has also unveiled a plan called “mobiles 40 by 20” and aims to grain 40% of smartphone sales in India by 2020 under this plan.
