Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 with 5.99-inch Display, Snapdragon 636, Stock Android Launched starting at Rs. 10,999

Asus Zenfone MAx Pro M1

Asus has just launched a new smartphone Asus Zenfone Max pro M1 in its battery focused Zenfone Max series of smartphones. This phone also packs a powerful battery but comes with a surprise. Asus has made a bet on stock Android by ditching its heavily customized Zen UI.

It will be available exclusively on Flipkart.in starting on May 3.  Price of the phone starts at Rs. 10,999 for 3GB, 32 GB variant and the 4GB, 64 GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999

Asus Zenfone Max pro M1 comes with 5.99-inch Display with 18:9 aspect ratio and FHD+ resolution. It has 2.5D scratch resistant glass. The phone is powered by 1.8 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 636 with Adreno 509 GPU.

It comes in 3GB Ram with 32 GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB of storage models. The storage is also expandable with dedicated microSD card slot. It comes with Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box with Pure Android experience.

There will also be a variant with 6 GB RAM, 64 GB storage, 16 MP+5MP rear camera and 16 MP front camera. It will be available in coming weeks for Rs. 14999.

The phone has dual camera setup with 13 megapixels and 5 megapixels sensors. It also has 8 megapixels camera at the front. Both front and rear camera setups have LED flash for low light photos. The rear camera can also record 4K videos.

Connectivity features of this phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, micro USB and GPS. It also packs NXP smart amplifier for good audio. The company is also offering a Max-Box that increases the volume of the phone up to 1.7 times. This max-bo will be given to all consumers within the box.

It supports both Face Unlock and fingerprint. It also packs 5000 mAh battery with support to fast charging.

Prepaid customers with 199 or above plan will get free 10 GB of additional data for 1 year. Postpaid customers will also get the free 10 GB of data for one year if they are using Vodafone RED 399 plan and above.

Flipkart is also offering its complete mobile protection plan that covers physical damage, liquid damage and full warranty to the phone at just an additional cost of Rs. 49. This service usually costs Rs. 999 but the complimentary price is for just Asus customers for now.

The phone will compete with Redmi Note 5 at this price. If you look at specs, Zenfone Max Pro M1 looks better than Redmi Note 5.
