Amazon India has just launched Amazon Echo Spot in India. This is a small Echo device with 2.5-inch circular display to show you important data or notifications.
You can use it on your desk and see your calendar updates, weather updates, time, alarm, see to do list, shooting list and control music and other smart gadgets of your home. Amazon has improved Alexa a lot for India. Alexa is getting new features and skills daily. You can ask Alexa to order food from Zomato, request a ride from Ola, book a carpenter from Urbanclap, and more.
It comes with 2nd-generation far-field mix technology with four microphones, acoustic beam-forming technology, and enhanced noise cancellation. It can also be connect directly to a speaker using 3.5mm cable or Bluetooth and then voice control that speaker. There are also dedicated buttons to control the volume, turn on or off mic and camera.
Amazon Echo Spot also sports a front camera to start Alexa-to-Alexa voice-controlled video calls or send video messages. Video calls work between any two Echo Spot devices or Alexa companion app available for Android and iOS.
It comes in Black and White color options. It is priced at Rs. 12999 but Amazon is selling it at an introductory price of Rs. 10,499 for limited period. You can also get 2 Echo Spot for Rs. 19,999. Not just Amazon.in, it is also available from Amazon devices kiosk in Bangalore and Mumbai, Croma, Reliance and Vijay Sales and few other big offline retail outlets across the country.
Amazon ha also reduced the price of existing Echo devices in India. Now you can get Echo Dot for Rs. 3999 and Echo for Rs. 7999.
