Xiaomi has launched its budget phone Redmi 5 in Indian market. The price stats at Rs. 7999 and it will be available exclusively from Amazon.in.

Xiaomi Redmi 5 comes with 5.7-inch HD+ 18:9 full-screen display and runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with MIUI 9. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 14nm processor with Adreno 506 GPU.

The phone comes in 2 GB RAM with 16 GB storage, 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage models. Internals storage is also expandable up to 128GB.

It has 12 megapixels rear camera with LED Flash, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. It also got a 5 megapixels front camera with front LED flash.

The phone has both Fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor. It includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. It has 3300 mAh battery.
