Xiaomi has just announced its new Xiamoi Mi Mix 2S smartphones at an event in Shanghai, China. The phone comes with narrow bezels, powerful specs and awesome camera. I am saying awesome camera because it managed the overall DxO Mark score 97.
The phone has ceramic body with an aluminium frame. Dimensions measure 150.86×74.9x 8.1 mm and it weighs 189g.
Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S comes with 5.99-inch Full HD+ display offering 18:9 display aspect ratio. The phone is powered by 2.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 845 64-bit 10nm processor with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes in three RAM storage models: 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB Storage, 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB Storage and 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB Storage. The phone runs on Android 8.1 (Oreo) with MIUI 9
It has dual camera setup at the back that including 12 megapixels primary sensor with 26mm wide-angle lens, 1/2.6″ Sony IMX363 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 1.4µm pixel size, dual-tone LED flash and 12 megapixels secondary sensor with 46mm telephoto lens, 1/3.4″ sensor size, f/2.4 aperture, 2X zoom. The camera features 4-axis OIS, Optical zoom and 4K video recording. It has 5 megapixels front camera with real-time AI portraits.
The front camera can also be used to unlock the phone. It also has fingerprint sensor located on the rear panel. The phone has Dual 4G VoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac dual-band (2×2 MU-MIMO ), Bluetooth 5, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, NFC and USB Type-C connectivity. It packs 3400 mAh battery with support to QuickCharge 3.0 and 7.5W Qi wireless charging.
