Xiaomi has launched another product in Indian market. This time it has brought its Mi Body Composition Scale for Rs. 1999. It will be available exclusively from Mi.com starting March 15th Noon. While Xiaomi has yet to list product on official website, it has announced the launch from its Twitter account.

Mi Body Composition scale offers useful insights of body characteristics such as the BMI, muscle mass, fat, and more. The claims to use a series of complex algorithms and advanced Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis (BIA) to give you better details about your body. So you can now take data-driven measures to meet your health goals.

Mi Body Composition Scale

The scale is made of tempered glass with polished surface to prevent you from slipping even with wet feet. It has a LED display that turns on after you step on it. It has Reading precision of 50 grams and can weight from 5 KG to 150 KG. It has Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity options. Mi Body Composition Scale supports devices running on Android 4.4 and above, as well as iOS 8.0 and above.

It is a connected smart device that you can pair with Xiaomi’s Mi Fit smartphone app. It collects data and displays on on Mi Fit app with proper charts and timelines.

The most notable feature of this scale is that it can identify different users and can store data of up to sixteen profiles.

It runs on four standard AAA batteries that comes within the box. The battery back up is claimed to be of up to eight months.

Xiaomi has already promised to add more non-smartphone devices in India. It has been very active for past one month. It launched Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 5, and the Redmi 5 smartphones. It also launched 55-inch 4K Mi TV4 and then two affordable smart TVs in India. It seems, Xiaomi now wants to aggressively capture consumer electronics market with its big product portfolio.
