Xiaomi has ready to launch a new smartphone in India. It has started teasing the launch a new smartphone scheduled on march 14. We are expecting Redmi 5 launch.
The company has started teasing the launch of this phone. Company calls it “Compact Powerhouse”.
Redmi 5 will be the successor of Redmi 4 launched last year. Redmi 4 was one of the most successful smartphone of Xiaomi. So the company expects the similar success from the phone.
Xiaomi Redmi 5 was launched in China last month. It comes with 5.7-inch HD+ screen with a 1440x720p resolution and metal unibody design. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. The phone has 12 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera.
In China, the phone was launched in three variants. 2GB RAM/16GB Storage, 3GB RAM/32GB storage and 4GB RAM/64GB storage. We are expecting the same models in India as well.
Redmi Note 5 starts at Rs. 9999. So the Redmi 5 will surely start with less price tag. We are expecting starting price of Redmi 5 at Rs. 6999.
