Yesterday, Xiaomi launched Xiaomi Redmi 5, successor of Redmi 4, in India. Now the company has dropped the price of Redmi 4 3GB and 4GB variants by Rs 500.

After this price drop, Redmi 4 with 3GB RAM and 32 GB storage is available for Rs. 8499. The Redmi 4 with 4GB RAM and 64 GB storage is available for Rs. 10499. You can purchase the phone from mi.com, Amazon.in, Mi Home stores and Mi Preferred partners.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes with HD display and runs on Android 7.0. It is powered by 1.4GHz octa-core, Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 processor. The phone has 13 megapixels rear camera and 5 megapixels front camera. It also has 4100 mAh battery. At this price, the phone offers good performance and nice battery backup.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 was one of the most successful Xiaomi smartphone in country. Now after the successor has been announced, giving it a price cut was a sensible move. The phone is in stock at the moment, but I recommend you to buy Redmi 5.
