Priyanka Technologies Signs 648 Core MoU with UP Government For R&D and Manufacturing unit


Priyanka Technologies, the company behind home-grown Smartphone brand CENTRiC, has signed a new MoU with Uttar Pradesh Government for setting up an R&D and Manufacturing unit for Mobile Phones in sates. This MoU was signed at the Investor Summit 2018.

The company has plans to invest Rs. 648 crores. The proposed amount will be used for R&D Unit and state of art Complete Knock- Down (C.K.D) Manufacturing Facility setup at the state. It will be used for both CENTRiC & FRND mobile phones owned by Priyanka Telecom as well as for other mobile phone manufacturers globally.

With this step, the company wants to contribute in ‘Make in India’ vision laid by our Honourable Prime Minister.

Mr Manish Agarwal, Founder, Priyanka Technologies (India) Pvt. Ltd. (CENTRiC Smartphones) said, “The Company plans to invest INR 648 Crores in setting up an R&D and Manufacturing unit in Uttar Pradesh. We, as a company, strongly believe in the ‘Make in India’ vision laid by our Honourable Prime Minister and thus, to further strengthen our stance, we have planned to set up the R&D and Manufacturing unit for India’s very own mobile phone brand – CENTRiC Smartphones.”

This project is expected to generate over 1500 job opportunities at various levels in and around the state.
