Along with Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro, Huawei also launched Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS smartphone. This may be the best phone from the company till date. It is actually the Huawei P20 Pro with a better design.

The phone comes with 6-inch OLED 2K curved screen. Unlike other phones launch today, this phone lacks notch. It has a glossy finish on the back. It is powered by Kirin 970 octa-core processor with Mali-G72 MP12 and 6GB of RAM. The phone will be available in 256GB or 512GB of internal storage models.

Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS comes with a same triple camera that is also in Huawei P20 Pro. The camera setup includes 40 megapixels RGB sensor with /1.8 aperture, 20 megapixels monochrome sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 8 megapixels telephoto f/2.4 sensor. This camera supports dual LED flash, PDAF, Laser autofocus, Depth autofocus, 3x optical zoom, 5x Hybrid Zoom and 4K video recording at 30fps. It has 24 megapixels front camera with 3D Portrait Lightning and Portrait Mode.

This is the first smartphone equipped with microcapsule PCM – an aerospace cooling technology for maintaining a safe temperature.

The phone has under display fingerprint reader. You can hover your finger over it to wake the phone and touch the screen to unlock it. It also has a secondary fingerprint reader on the back.

The phone is water and dust resistant with IP67 rating. The dimensions measure 155.0 mm x 73.9 mm x 7.8 mm and weigh 180g. It comes in Midnight Blue, Black, Pink Gold, Twilight color options.

It offers Wi-Fi 2.4 G, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac with Wi-Fi Direct support, Bluetooth 4.2 and USB Type-C connectivity. The phone packs 4000 mAh battery with support to Huawei SuperCharge tech.

The 256GB model will cost €1,695 ad 512GB model will cost €2,095. It will be available starting April 12.
