Oppo has introduced a new mid-range smartphone Oppo A1 in China. The phone looks similar to Oppo A83 launched in India recently. Oppo A1 is priced at 1499 yuan and will be available in China starting April 1.

OPPO A1 comes with 5.7-inch HD+ display with 2.5D curved glass and 18:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 2.5GHz Octa-Core processor and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat with color OS 3.2. The phone has 4GB RAM and 64 GB of storage. Storage is also expandable up to 128GB.
Oppo A1 features a 13 megapixels rear camera with LED flash and 8 megapixels front camera. It also has A.I beauty technology that scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly. The front camera also features Face Unlock feature that claims to use 128 facial for recognising your face.
Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS + GLONASS. The phone lacks fingerprint sensor. It packs 3180 mAh battery.

As the company already launched Oppo A83 in India with similar specs, I don’t think Oppo A1 will be launched in India.
