Fitbit has launched its new smartphone Fitbit Versa with modern design and 4 days of battery back. The battery back is the thing that attracted me towards this watch. At the time when Apple Watch is ruling the wearable section, we can also call Fitbit Versa a cheaper alternate of that.
Fitbit Versa impresses with its design and brought features that most people will surely like. It actually resembles an Apple Watch. It is slim and light in weight. It is also said to be one of the lightest metal smartwatches. It runs on Fitbit OS 2.0 that supports iPhone (4S and later) and Android (4.3 and later).
It got a 1.34-inch Touchscreen Color LCD display. It is water resistant to 50 meters. There are 3-axis accelerometer, 3-axis gyroscope, Optical heart rate monitor, Altimeter, Ambient light sensor, SpO2 sensor and Vibration motor. It has 24/7 heart rate tracking, onscreen workouts, and automatic sleep stages tracking.
The watch focuses on Female Health Tracking. It can log periods, track your cycle & gauge ovulation. The gauge ovulation tracking is not yet available and will come soon.
It has 15+ Exercise Modes to track your excercises and check stats in real time. You can also start personalized workouts on your wrist & get coached through every move. Its enhanced SpO2 sensor estimates blood oxygen levels. It also claims heart rate tracking with greater accuracy during exercises. Over the time, it will become more personalized to offer reminders, celebrations, sleep summaries and social challenges
It comes with internal storage that can store up to 300 songs. You can also use it to download the Pandora stations.
It packs 145 mAh battery that promises over 4 days of battery life with normal use. There is also a Fitbit Versa Special Edition that offers wallet-free payments. This model comes with higher price tag.
It will be available in Q2, 2018 across Reliance Digital, Croma, Helios and other major retailers. It is priced t Rs. 19,999. The Fitbit Versa Special Edition will be available for Rs. 21,999.
