ASUS ‘Strix GL702ZC’ Gaming Laptop Launched in India at Rs 1,35,000

ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) launched its new gaming laptop Strix GL702ZC in India. This is the first gaming laptop powered by the AMD Ryzen eight-core processor and with multithreading technology.

This laptop is priced at Rs. 134990. It is now up for pre-order from Flipkart. It will be available starting March 20.

ASUS ROG “Strix GL702ZC” features 17.3-inch full-HD IPS anti-glare display. The display has FreeSync support. It has four display modes, which can be accessed with a single click – Normal mode, Vivid mode, Eye Care mode, and Manual mode.

It is powered by Ryzen 7 1700 processor (eight cores, 16 threads) and AMD Radeon RX580 graphics (4GB of VRAM). It also claims to offer brilliant virtual-reality performance. It comes with 16GB of DDR4 memory (expandable up to 32GB). It pacs 256GB SATA SSD, and a 1TB HDD.

The laptop also for backlit keyboard with anti-ghosting technology. It ensures keystrokes are correctly interpreted even when 30 keys are pressed simultaneously. Keys also have expected lifetime of 10 million key presses.

The laptop includes Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.1, USB Type-C, USB 3.0, HDMI 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack. It weighs 3.2 KH and measures 415x280x340mm.
