Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro with 5.99-inch FHD+ display, Snapdragon 636 launched in India starting at Rs. 13999
Xiaomi has launched its new smartphone Redmi Note 5 Pro in India. Specifications of this phone were already leaked and the phone is same that the leak claimed. The phone comes in 4GB and 6 GB RAM models.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with 5.99-inch (2160 × 1080 pixels) Full HD+ 18:9 2.5D curved glass display and Gorilla Glass protection. It is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU. It runs on Android 7.1.2 (Nougat) with MIUI 9.
The phone comes in 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 64GB storage. The storage is also expandable up to 128GB. The phone has Hybrid Dual SIM slot.
The phone has dual camera setup at the back where primary sensor is of 12 megapixels with Sony IMX486 sensor, 1.25μm pixel size, f/2.2 aperture and PDAF. The secondary rear camera is of 5 megapixels with Samsung sensor, 1.12μm pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. The dual-tone LED flash is also there for helping in low light.
It also has 20 megapixels front camera with Sony IMX376 sensor, f/2.2 aperture, LED flash and 1080p video recording. The front camera also supports Face unlock that will be available via OTA update by the end of March.
Connectivity features of the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5 and GPS + GLONASS. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back and an Infrared sensor. It also has 4000 mAh battery.
The phone has premium metal build. The dimensions of the phone include 158.6×75.4×8.05mm and weight is 181g.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro comes in Black, Gold, Rose Gold and Blue colors. The 4 GB model is priced at Rs. 13999 and the 6 GB RAM model costs Rs. 16999. It will be available exclusively from Flipkart, Mi.com and Mi Home Stores starting from February 22nd.
The company has also announced Rs. 2200 cashback offer and 100% additional 4G data for Reliance Jio customers.
